Paris born and educated in graphic design, Alain Moulis moved to the USA in 1975 finding success in designing prints for the fashion and publishing industry in NYC and presently living in Arizona painting realism, as well as, abstracts. Moulis celebrates life by keeping his work uplifting with vibrant subjects and colors.

Alain’s Moulis’s paintings are diversified because he continues to challenge his talent as demonstrated in use of media and techniques, from the skill of freehand airbrush with photographic-like realism to the use of a three-step crackle process.

Alain Moulis is also applying his talent to creating steel sculptures. The geometrical shapes in motion have vertical rods symbolizing the link between the universe and us. “Most people do not realize the difficulty of welding and grinding and painting something as complex and intricate as his pieces. It takes special skills, persistence to achieve such a level of quality.”
